THis qusetion is based on hadith of prophet[pbuh] a authantic hadith of MUSNAND AHAMED vol no.2 page230.hadith7148were the beloved prophet[pbuh] said that oh you people the blessed Month of RAMDAN is aproaching and ALLAH has ordained for you that you fast in this month and gates of haven will be opened and gates of hell is closed and the devil will be chained in this month is a NIGHT which is batter then a thousand months and a person who is deprived of the blessing of this month is truly a deprived person so when we came to this hadith it clearly mentions that in this month of ramdan the DEVILS will be chained and it is a logical question If devis`s is chained in RAMDAN then how do people do sins? To make the people understand we have to realize that when devils are chained it does not mean they are killed they yet present but chained ,they have deminished power ,I like to give an example''there is loin who is free there is high chances that he will kill you but if loin is chained you are safe you are safe as long as you maintain a safe distance after loin has been chaned if you come too close to him there is chanses that you can be killed so as long as you maintain distance from a loin you are safe SIMILARLY IN the month of RAMDAN if you maintain safe distance from SAITAN[DEVIL] you are safe.
