Sana Bhat, a poor girl from Magarmal Bagh locality of Kashmir capital Srinagar diagnosed with relapse acute myeloid leukemia - a type of blood cancer – is undergoing treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute New Delhi.
Her father has expired and all the responsibility of her treatment lies on her siblings who are not able to pay for the systematic cycles of chemotherapy.
“After the transfusion, doctors have prescribed her to undergo systematic cycles of chemotherapy followed by Allogenic stem cell transplant which would cost her 15-20 lakh Rupees,” said her sister, who is attending her in the hospital.
She is currently going through Blood Transfusion (Blood and Platelets) on alternate days which cost Rs 25000 (Twenty Five Thousand), added her sister.
Alhumdu lillah People helped her, now she is good.
